Over the last year there have been things that I wanted
to blog about that aren't suitable for my other blog, as it's completely
irrelevant to craft.
For instance my thoughts and feelings about being a mum,
random ramblings and interesting (albeit slightly useless) facts and trivia.
Hence me adding another blog.
So what's with the blog name? Well... I was born in Perth,
Western Australia. I moved to Queensland as a toddler, and have lived here ever
since.
The nickname for people from Australia's Western shores is " Sandgroper" which is an elusive
insect which burrows through the sandy soil.
A family friend gave me one of these as a kid....Sunny the
Sandgroper.

I remember my little brother being pretty dirty that he didn't have
one, as he's a "Banana Bender" (Queenslander).
So living in Queensland I am "A Misplaced Sandgroper"...
Also I've actually misplaced my stuffed toy sandgroper..!
